rackandTuner.com visited our favorite event of the year which is called the AvD Oldtimer GP 2016. This year that had a new surprise, they organised a modern and classic trackday on the Nordschleife the day before the AvD Oldtimer GP on the Nurburgring.
The Nordschleife was filled with hyper-and supercars like three Koenigseggs, a Porsche 918 Spyder, Ford GT Heritage, the gorgeous Aston Martin GT12 and so many other gorgeous cars which could go on the Nordschleife the entire day.
There was a big diversity of cars from the gorgeous classics to the million euros hypercars. The Oldtimer GP always attracts the best cars and therefore we were nog surprised a Ferrari LaFerrari turned up.
However we all know that the fastest cars on the Nordschleife are still the Porsches and BMW's, especially team Schirmer which was present with the white BMW M3 e90 4-door saloon and a BMW M3 e46 completely track prepared. But we must say the Vertha Ithaca Lamborghini Aventador SV is a regular guest on the Nordschleife, and really drives it pretty fast.
It is great to see the BMW M4 GTS more and more on the Nordschleife. BMW has put out a great video in which the M4 GTS did a 7.28 BTG which is a great time. However team schirmer are capable of doing those lap in their M3 e92's, so we are waiting what they are going to offer next.
www.youtube.com/Tomedelic1 did a lovely detailed video about the Koenigsegg CCXR Carbon edition. This twin turbo V8 has 1018HP, weighing only 1280KG and capable of going over 400 kph, wow.
