The Green Hell Driving Days

TrackandTuner.com visited the Green Hell Driving Days at the Nordschleife. This means three days of full Touristfahren on the Nordschleife. We alreay arrived on a friday and did quite some laps ourselves. It was quiet en one of the best days of touristfahren this year. Check out the report here.

Day two started a bit moist and misty. Meaning some very tricky Nordschleife conditions. However they was a plus side to this weather, the extreme traffic jams weren't day. The weather made that there weren't too much people and with the drying conditions this means another great Nordschleife day. This time we went to Brunnchen to check out the cars flying by. We managed to capture the extreme McLaren P1 LM in action.

Day three: The sun was out, the weather was gorgeous and during the first hours on the Nordschleife the conditions were perfect. We went out for a quick photoshoot with a lovely BMW M3 F80 and a BMW M3 e93. Both cars are fully customized and look far from standard. The BMW M3 F80 looks amazing in Yas Marina Blue, all the ///M performance parts and the new BOCA design carbon fiber spoiler by carbonfiber dynamics.

The BMW M3 e93 has some massive Super Deep concave 19 inch Forgestar wheels, GT4 race front spoiler, M performance steering wheel, Brembo big brake kit and so much more. These two are looking and sounding sick together. The old skool V8 vs the brand new twin turbo six inline. More to come in our WeDrive series.

For the last hour on the Nordschleife I took a Porsche 911 turbo convertible fitted with a manual gearbox around the Nordschleife. I must say this thing rocks, the four wheel drive and the boost of this car rockets you out of corners. The brakes and the steering were lovely and gave me a lot of confidence. I know the sound is a lot of turbo whoosshhhh but it is kinda cool when driving open on the Nordschleife. Big thanks to the owner for letting me drive the car!

All in all we had a great time, and only on this last day of the Green Hell Driving days it was busy. But busy is good, it wasn't that bad with traffic or accidents. Yes the track closed down multiple times, yes there were some traffic jams, but it was 15 degrees in October and we really enjoyed all the great cars coming out.

It was an awesome ending of our Nordschleife season and we hope to see you all there next year.
