GMTEC 2018: Hypercar season officially started

TrackandTuner.com visited the first supercar & hypercar meeting of the year at GMTEC.

You might know that every year all the supercars and hypercars get stored in their garages, waiting for some nice weather to come out and play again. This year we had to wait a very long time for the winter to give up its cold. Althought 10 degrees isn't warm, the GMTEC meeting is the unofficial opening of the supercar and hypercar season.

The line up was great with about 120 cars attending. We had hypercars like the Ferrari Aventador SV, the Ferrari 812 Superfast and a lot of great sportscars and supercars. The purple mat McLaren 570S looked great next to the new Porsche 911 GT3.

Seeing them side by side, I still prefer the Porsche.

Lots of great car modification on many of the cars attending, which is to my liking.

We like these kind of meeting, there is a lot of variety and lots of owners interact with eachother. You can see a chrome blue Maserati Quattroporte on the one side and a McLaren SLR on the other side. Also lots of great BMW M2, M3, M4's were present. These can be tuned to personalize to the likings of the owner.

Also present was a bad ass Lamborghini Huracan N-Largo edition. This car has a 800HP Supercharger and wide body kit from Novitec looking mean. But the Ferrari 812 Superfast is such an aggressive looking car.

The Yas Marine BMW M3 (Instagram owner: @yasblueM3) was looking great. www.youtube.com/tomedelic1 also recorded the loudest BMW M6 we ever heard. This car had a full custom exhaust, no cats and eisenmann race end pipes. It was shooting some loud pops and bangs from the exhaust. Do you like it?
