TrackandTuner.com visited the Gamma Racing Days. This festival attracts over 100.000 people to check out a lot of racing activities. Two years ago we had as main attraction Dani Pedrosa with his Honda MotoGP bike demo.
Every year the Gamma racing days show the best of racing activities. This year the main attraction was the F1 demo given by a Renault F1 V8 driven by Carlos Sainz Jr. However there is a lot more action, like the SupercarChallenge, Dakar cars, F1 Boss racing and much more.
As you know we follow the SupercarChallenge as they have great variety of cars and the races are always spectacular. This year I was located in the last and very tricky GT corner. Lots of mistakes and overtakes are made in this corner.
As you can see something people get pushed on to the grass or hit the tire barriers
With the rising star of Max Verstappen, the Netherlands wants to have their own F1 race. However with track is still unknown?
Carlos Sainz Jr. said that Assen would be a great contender, albeit a bit narrow, it is very fast even for a F1 car.
It was great to get a close up with a Renault F1 car, see and hear the car start and flyby. The sound is awesome and just the team of engineers needed to perform is awesome to see.
