Finally after almost a year TrackandTuner.com is back at our favorite spot in the entire world, the Nurburgring Nordschleife.
We all know that the current Corona Crisis has hit people hard, financially and health wise. We only wanted to travel, when the situation permitted and if felt "safe".
So after a long wait, we decided to go to the Nurburgring again, bringing out the BMW M3 F80 and the BMW X5 (fitted with some big 22 inch Hamann wheels)
During Saturday, Tourisfahren was closed for the day and would open from 18:00.
So we decided to go to a nearby typical German town. However we must be honest, the current rules and regulations make it all feel a bit awkward. The mouth mask are obligatory in shops and public rooms.
But as you can see the amount of people is a lot less than normal. As shopping with a mouth mask isn't the best experience.
After our "shopping trip" we went to the Nurburgring Nordschleife for the opening of Touristfahren.
The Nordschleife entrance is still closed meaning a lot of traffic around the entrance causing some big traffic jams. However, we can report that the cars are still plenty and lovely.
Some gorgeous BMW M3's, like the Diebels Alt BMW e30 fitted with a BMW V8 from the BMW M5 e39.
Another great find was the brand new BMW X5M. At this location, I must say it looked great in this bronze / greenish tint.
We are glad we are back and to see that the cars are still as great as we remembered.
