It attracts the greatest classic race cars of the past like the BMW M1, 3.0CSL, M3 e30 DTM Porsche Kremer 935 K3 and the Porsche 911 RSR. We take a look at all these iconic classic race cars.

We start with the BMW M1 procar.

The BMW M1 was developed to meet the regulations of group 5 racers. This means that you need to make a certain amount of street cars before entering the racing series.

Unfortunately regulations changed during the development, therefore BMW couldn’t participate in Group 5 racing.

But BMW decided to start their own racing league better known as the Procar series.

The highly modified M1 Procar was created with a M88 straight 6 producing 470hp at 9000RPM.

Only weighing 1020 kg the M1 Procar was able to reach 311kph (193mph) and go to 0-100kph (62mph) in 4,3 seconds.

The M1 Procar series attracted some of the biggest names in racing world like Niki Lauda and Nelson Piquet, creating a exciting new race league.

With the Porsche Kremer K3 turbo monsters, BMW decided to make a M1 procar Turbo version capable of 850hp which is the blue lubri 10.000 car shown side by side the Porsche 935 K3.
