Classic GP Nurburgring 2022: F1 cars - Schumacher, Ferrari, Benetton

Trackandtuner.com visited the Classic GP at the Nurburgring.

A warm up for our favorite classic event, the AvD Oldtimer GP.

Planning wise, it was a bit awkward, together with the Spa Classic and the DTM race at the Lauzitsring.

However, we still had a great line up, great weather, great people and a EPIC display of Classic F1 Cars.

We had some legendary cars this year.

A full line up of the Ferrari F1 cars, by Modena Racing, including the V12 by Jean Alesi. I loved to see that car, and the driver was doing great with some fast laps.

The Jacky Ikx car is also legendary and makes a lot of sound.

Another Classic F1 car was the MTV livery by Officina Caira who maintain and drive these great F1 cars at multiple events in Europe.

But the highlight of the show was the ex-F1 from Michael Schumacher.

The Benetton B193 is a Formula One racing car with which the Benetton team competed in the 1993 Formula One World Championship. Designed by Ross Brawn and Rory Byrne, the car was powered by the latest Cosworth HBA engine in an initially-exclusive deal with Ford, and ran on Goodyear tyres. It was driven by German Michael Schumacher and veteran Italian Riccardo Patrese.

The car was put up for sale at Goodwood Festival of speed and was estimated between 1.1 and 1.6 Million pounds (2 million Euro's/Dollar!)
