This car was built according to VLN standards, meaning full welded ring cage, Suspension, Braking upgrades, fuel cell etc. etc.
The Crown has now made this a fully road legal Renault Megane RS VLN for you to rent on the Nordschleife.
We recently drove the Renault Megane RS during a Trackdays.de day at the Nurburgring Nordschleife. While this was a standard Megane RS with a coolerworkx short shifter, the car was great and we had a lot of fun on the Nordschleife, as you can see in the video down below.
This car is a major upgrade compared to the other black Megane RS. When you step in you will see that this car is a real VLN car. It is fully stripped and ready to attack the Nordschleife.
The weather was awful but even in the rain the car feel comfortable and easy to drive.
We hope to take the car on the Nordschleife in 2021 for a real test of its potential.
